So, what is aldioxa?
"Aldioxa" is a food ingredient that belongs to the family of antioxidants. It is a synthetic compound that is used as a preservative to extend the shelf life of food products. Aldioxa works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold, and yeast, thus preventing spoilage. Unlike natural antioxidants, aldioxa is more stable and can withstand high temperatures, making it ideal for use in processed foods. It is commonly used in baked goods, snack foods, and canned fruits and vegetables. Despite its synthetic nature, aldioxa is approved by regulatory bodies and considered safe for human consumption.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
