So, what is champignon'?
Champignon is a type of mushroom that is highly prized for its delicate flavor and versatile use in a wide range of dishes. Also known as the white button mushroom, it has a firm, slightly meaty texture and a mild, earthy taste that makes it a popular ingredient in soups, stews, sauces, and sautés. Champignon mushrooms are also a good source of protein, dietary fiber, and a variety of essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin D, potassium, and B-complex vitamins. Whether sliced thin or quartered, champignon adds a wonderful depth of flavor to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
