So, what is ciklamátok?
Ciklamátok, also known as cyclamates, are a type of artificial sweetener that are commonly used in the food and beverage industry. They are typically added to products to enhance their sweetness, without the added calories of sugar. While they have been approved for use in many countries around the world, some studies have suggested that they may have negative health effects, including an increased risk of cancer. Despite this, ciklamátok continue to be widely used as a low-calorie alternative to sugar in a variety of food and drink products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
