So, what is clarifying agent?
A clarifying agent is a substance that helps to remove impurities from liquids, such as wine, beer, or juice. It works by binding to suspended particles and causing them to settle to the bottom of the container, leaving behind a clear and transparent liquid. Common clarifying agents include fining agents, such as bentonite and gelatin, which are added directly to the liquid. Alternatively, filtration can also be used as a clarifying method. Clarifying agents are especially important in the production of high-quality beverages, as they can greatly improve the appearance, taste, and stability of the final product.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
