So, what is glukose-und fructose?
Glucose and fructose, also known as "glukose-und fructose" in German, are two simple sugars that are naturally found in various fruits, vegetables, and honey. They are commonly referred to as "monosaccharides" and are essential components of many important biochemical processes in the human body, including cellular respiration and energy production. Glucose and fructose are often used together as a sweetener in processed foods and beverages, as they have a similar taste to table sugar but are cheaper to produce. Despite their similar taste, they have different properties and are metabolized differently in the body, which can have important implications for health and nutrition.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
