So, what is green chile?
Green chile, also known as Anaheim pepper, is a versatile and flavorful ingredient in many dishes. With a mild to medium heat level, green chiles have a slightly sweet and tangy flavor that adds depth and complexity to soups, stews, salsas, and sauces. These peppers are native to New Mexico, where they are a staple in traditional cuisine, but are now widely available in fresh, canned, and roasted forms. Green chiles are a good source of vitamins A and C, and can be used in a variety of recipes to add a touch of southwestern flair to any dish.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
