So, what is jamon curado?

Jamon curado is a Spanish dried and cured ham that is made from the hind leg of a pig. It is characterized by its rich, savory flavor with a hint of saltiness and a tender texture that practically melts in your mouth. The curing process involves rubbing the ham with salt and leaving it to dry for a few weeks before washing off the salt and hanging it to age for several months. This allows the ham to develop its distinct taste and aroma, resulting in a perfectly balanced flavor that pairs well with a variety of dishes or enjoyed on its own as an indulgent snack.
