So, what is levistico?
Levistico, also known as lovage, is a lesser-known herb that has been used in Mediterranean cuisine for centuries. With a flavor similar to celery and parsley, levistico can be used in a variety of dishes including soups, stews, and salads. This aromatic herb also has medicinal properties and is believed to aid in digestion, reduce inflammation, and act as a natural diuretic. Levistico is often used in small quantities due to its strong flavor, but its unique taste and health benefits make it a valuable addition to any kitchen.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
