So, what is lupiini?
Lupiini, also known as lupin beans or lupine seeds, are an excellent source of plant-based protein, fiber, and other essential nutrients. These small legumes have a slightly sweet and nutty flavor that works well in a variety of dishes, from salads to soups. Lupiini is gluten-free, making it an ideal substitute for wheat-based foods for those with gluten intolerance. It's also low in fat and provides the body with antioxidants, which can help protect against cell damage caused by free radicals. Additionally, lupiini contains high levels of amino acids, essential fatty acids, and minerals such as iron, calcium, and potassium.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
