So, what is markerbsenschoten?
Markerbsenschoten, also known as marrowfat peas or green peas, are a type of legume that have been allowed to mature on the vine until they are dry and hard. Unlike fresh green peas, markerbsenschoten have a starchy texture and earthy flavor that makes them an excellent addition to soups, stews, and casseroles. They are also a good source of protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. In some cultures, markerbsenschoten are traditionally mashed into a paste and used as a filling for savory pastries, while in others they are roasted and seasoned as a crunchy snack.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
