So, what is natamycyna?

Natamycin, also known as pimaricin, is a naturally occurring antifungal agent commonly used as a food preservative. It is derived from the bacteria Streptomyces natalensis and is effective against a wide range of molds and yeasts that can spoil food. Natamycin is often used in dairy products, such as cheese and yogurt, as well as in baked goods, meats, and other processed foods. It is considered safe for human consumption and has been approved for use by many regulatory agencies around the world. Despite its effectiveness as a preservative, natamycin does not alter the taste or texture of food.
