So, what is natriumcitrater?
Natriumcitrater, also known as sodium citrate, is a food ingredient commonly used as a flavoring agent, acidity regulator, and emulsifier. It is a white, crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water and has a slightly salty, acidic taste. Natriumcitrater is often used in the production of processed cheese, as it helps to prevent the cheese from separating and becoming oily. It can also be found in sports drinks and other beverages, where it acts as a buffering agent to maintain the pH balance of the product. Additionally, natriumcitrater can be used as a preservative in certain foods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
