So, what is palmový olej?

Palmový olej, also known as palm oil, is a widely used ingredient in the food industry. It is derived from the fruit of oil palm trees and is used for its high content of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, which provide a creamy texture and prolonged shelf life in products. Palm oil is commonly found in baked goods, snacks, and processed foods, as well as in non-food products such as cosmetics and biofuels. However, its production has been linked to deforestation and habitat destruction, leading to concerns about its environmental impact. As a result, there is a growing demand for sustainably produced palm oil.
