So, what is parsnip?
Parsnip is a root vegetable that is closely related to carrots and parsley. It has a creamy white flesh and a slightly sweet and nutty flavor. With its distinctively long and tapered shape, parsnips can be eaten raw or cooked in a variety of ways, including roasting, boiling, steaming, and pureeing. They are often used as a substitute for potatoes in soups and stews, and can also be mashed with butter and cream to make a delicious side dish. Additionally, parsnips are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, and potassium, making them a nutritious addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
