So, what is riisijauho?
Riisijauho, also known as rice flour, is a versatile and gluten-free ingredient that has been used in Asian cuisine for centuries. Made from finely milled rice grains, this fine white powder has a slightly sweet taste and a soft, powdery texture. It can be used as a thickener for soups and sauces, or in baking to create light and airy cakes and pastries. In addition, riisijauho is a popular ingredient in many gluten-free recipes, providing an alternative to wheat flour for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
