So, what is safranpulver?
Safranpulver, also known as saffron powder, is a highly prized and rare spice derived from the dried stigma of the Crocus sativus flower. It has a rich golden color and a distinct aroma that is both floral and earthy. Widely used in Persian, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine, it imparts a unique and luxurious flavor to dishes such as paella, biryani, and risotto. Due to its labor-intensive harvesting process, safranpulver is one of the most expensive spices in the world, but its intense flavor and vibrant hue make it a worthwhile addition to any chef's pantry.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
