So, what is sucre' '?
Sucré is the French word for sugar, a sweet-tasting, crystalline substance that is widely used as a food ingredient and sweetener. Derived mainly from sugar cane and sugar beet, sugar is an important source of energy for the body and is commonly used in baking, confectionery, and drinks. Sucré comes in various forms such as granulated, caster, and icing sugar, each with different textures and uses. While it can add a delightful sweetness to dishes, it's important to consume sugar in moderation, as excessive intake can lead to health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
