So, what is sucre de cannes blond?
Sucre de cannes blond, also known as blonde cane sugar, is a natural sweetener derived from sugarcane. It is produced by extracting the juice from sugarcane and then boiling it to remove the water content, leaving behind the crystallized sugar. Unlike refined white sugar, sucre de cannes blond retains some of its natural molasses content, which gives it a delicate caramel flavor and a slightly golden hue. This unrefined sugar is often used in baking and cooking to add a touch of sweetness and depth of flavor to a variety of dishes, from desserts to marinades.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
