So, what is sukrose?
Sucrose is a type of simple sugar that is commonly known as table sugar. It is a naturally occurring carbohydrate that is found in many fruits and vegetables, including sugarcane and sugar beets. Sucrose is often used in cooking and baking to sweeten foods and drinks. It is also added to many processed foods, such as cereal, yogurt, and soda, to enhance their flavor. While sucrose can provide a quick burst of energy, consuming too much of it over time can contribute to health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
