So, what is sulfate de potassium?
Potassium sulfate, also known as sulfate de potassium, is a white crystalline salt commonly used in the production of fertilizers for crops. It's also used as an ingredient in certain types of glazes and in the manufacturing of glass. Potassium sulfate can be naturally found in minerals such as kainite and schoenite, or produced through the reaction of potassium chloride and sulfuric acid. In addition to its industrial uses, potassium sulfate may also be used in dietary supplements due to its high potassium content, which can support cardiovascular health and proper muscle function.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
