So, what is vinagre de vinho?
Vinagre de vinho is a Portuguese term for wine vinegar, a tart and acidic liquid condiment made from fermented wine. It is typically made by first fermenting wine, and then allowing it to turn into vinegar through a second fermentation process. This versatile ingredient is commonly used in cooking, salad dressings, and marinades, and adds a sharp and tangy flavor to any dish. Wine vinegar can be made from a variety of different wines, each adding its unique flavor profile to the final product. In addition to its culinary uses, vinagre de vinho is also believed to have potential health benefits, such as improving digestion and lowering blood sugar levels.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
