So, what is whole teff flour?
Whole teff flour is a gluten-free flour made from the smallest grain in the world, teff. This flour has a mild, nutty flavor with a slightly sweet taste and a delicate texture. Teff flour is rich in fiber, iron, calcium, and protein, making it an excellent addition to a healthy diet. It's also low in fat and easy to digest, making it an ideal alternative to wheat flour for those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. Whole teff flour is commonly used in Ethiopian cuisine for making injera, a traditional sourdough flatbread, but it can also be used in a variety of recipes, from bread to cakes and cookies.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
