So, what is y acesulfame k?
Acesulfame K, commonly known as "y acesulfame k," is a high-intensity artificial sweetener that is often used in food and beverage products as a low-calorie alternative to sugar. It is approximately 200 times sweeter than sugar and has a slightly bitter aftertaste. Acesulfame K is heat-stable and can be used in cooking and baking without losing its sweetness. It is also stable at a wide range of pH levels, making it a popular ingredient in acidic and carbonated beverages. Despite some controversy over its safety, acesulfame K is approved for use in many countries around the world.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
