So, what is yellow linseed?
Yellow linseed, also known as flaxseed, is a tiny, golden-colored seed that packs a powerful nutritional punch. It is an excellent source of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, lignans, and other essential nutrients. These tiny seeds have a mild, nutty flavor and a slightly crunchy texture, making them a versatile addition to a variety of dishes. Yellow linseed can be used in baking to add extra fiber and nutrition to breads, muffins, and other baked goods. They can also be sprinkled on top of salads, yogurt, or oatmeal for an extra boost of nutrition.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
