So, what is azeitonas?
Azeitonas, also known as olives, are small, oval-shaped fruits that come from the olive tree. They are commonly found in Mediterranean cuisine and are a popular ingredient in dishes like salads, pizzas, and pasta. Azeitonas can be black, green, or somewhere in between, depending on their level of ripeness. They have a slightly bitter taste and a firm texture, with a juicy and meaty pulp that is rich in healthy fats and antioxidants. Azeitonas are also commonly used to produce olive oil, a staple ingredient in many kitchens around the world.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
