So, what is datiles?
Dátiles, also known as dates, are sweet, chewy fruits that come from the date palm tree. They have been cultivated for thousands of years and are a staple food in many Middle Eastern and North African countries. These fruits are high in natural sugar, fiber, and various vitamins and minerals, making them a nutritious and energy-dense food. Dátiles are commonly eaten as a snack, added to baked goods or used in savory dishes, such as stews or tagines. They also have a long shelf life, making them a popular ingredient for preserving and can be found in various forms, including dried, fresh, or canned.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
