So, what is du sésames?
Du sésame, or sesame seeds in English, are small, oval-shaped seeds that come from the sesame plant. They are commonly used in many different types of cuisine, from Middle Eastern to Asian dishes. Sesame seeds have a slightly nutty and earthy flavor, which is enhanced when toasted. They are also rich in protein, healthy fats, and various vitamins and minerals, making them a nutritious addition to any diet. Sesame seeds can be used in a variety of ways, such as sprinkled on top of salads, incorporated into baked goods, or ground into a paste called tahini for use in dips or sauces.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
