So, what is lactoproteines?
Lactoproteins are a group of proteins that are found in milk and dairy products. They are important for the growth and development of mammals, including humans, as they provide essential amino acids necessary for building muscle and repairing tissues. Lactoproteins can be further categorized into two groups: caseins and whey proteins. Caseins are slow-digesting proteins that form curds, while whey proteins are fast-digesting and help with muscle recovery. Lactoproteins are commonly used as an ingredient in sports nutrition supplements due to their high protein content and easily digestible nature. They are also utilized in various food applications such as baked goods, protein bars, and beverages.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
