So, what is a riboflavine?
Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes in the body. It is a yellow, crystalline substance that is commonly found in a wide range of foods, including dairy products, meat, fish, and green leafy vegetables. Riboflavin is essential for maintaining healthy skin, eyes, and nervous system function, as well as for converting food into energy. It also acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect the body from free radical damage. A deficiency of riboflavin can lead to a range of health problems, including anemia, skin disorders, and vision problems.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
