So, what is acetato di retinile?
Acetato di retinile, also known as retinyl acetate, is a synthetic form of vitamin A commonly used as a food additive and dietary supplement. It is derived from retinol, a type of fat-soluble vitamin that plays a critical role in maintaining healthy vision, skin, and immune system function. Acetato di retinile is often added to processed foods, such as breakfast cereals and dairy products, to increase their nutritional value. In addition, it is used in skincare products to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to promote cellular regeneration. Despite its many benefits, excessive consumption of acetato di retinile can lead to toxicity and other adverse health effects.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
