So, what is féves?
Féves, also known as broad beans or fava beans, are a versatile and nutritious legume that have been a staple in many cultures for centuries. With their buttery texture and earthy flavor, féves can be used in a variety of dishes, from hearty stews and soups to salads and dips. They are a good source of protein, fiber, iron, and other essential nutrients, making them an excellent choice for vegetarians and vegans. In addition to their nutritional value, féves also have a unique history, having been cultivated and consumed since ancient times in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
