So, what is cacao alcalinise?
Cacao alkalization is a process that involves treating cocoa beans with an alkaline substance like potassium carbonate. This process is also known as Dutching, and it is done to reduce the bitterness and acidity of cocoa powder, resulting in a milder and smoother flavor. Cacao alcalinise is perfect for making chocolate cakes, hot chocolate, and other desserts. However, it should be noted that alkalization can also reduce the nutritional value of cacao, so it's essential to use high-quality, non-alkalized cacao powder whenever possible.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
