So, what is carbonato di magnesio?
Carbonato di magnesio, or magnesium carbonate, is a naturally occurring mineral that is widely used as a food ingredient. It is a white, odorless powder that is often added to foods as an anti-caking agent, to prevent the clumping or sticking together of particles. Magnesium carbonate is also used as a supplement to help meet the body's magnesium requirements. It is believed to support bone health, muscle function, and nerve function. Additionally, this versatile ingredient is used in the production of a variety of other products, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and plastics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
