So, what is dioxyde de titane?
Dioxyde de titane, also known as titanium dioxide, is a naturally occurring mineral that is commonly used as a food additive. It is a white, odorless, and tasteless powder that is often added to processed foods as a whitening agent, as well as to enhance their texture and stability. This ingredient is also used in cosmetics, sunscreens, and other personal care products. While generally considered safe in small quantities, some studies have raised concerns about the potential health risks associated with its consumption in larger amounts.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
