So, what is extraits d'épice?
Extraits d'épice is a French term that translates to "spice extracts" in English. These concentrated extracts are derived from a variety of spices, such as cinnamon, clove, ginger, and nutmeg, and are commonly used in the food industry to add flavor and aroma to a wide range of dishes. Extraits d'épice are highly potent and are usually added sparingly to recipes, as a little goes a long way. They are an excellent way to add depth and complexity to soups, stews, sauces, and marinades, and can also be used to flavor baked goods, desserts, and beverages.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
