So, what is farine blanche?
Farine blanche is a finely ground flour that has been refined and processed to remove the bran and germ from the wheat grain. This results in a flour that is lighter in color and texture, but also lower in nutritional value than its whole grain counterpart. Farine blanche is commonly used in baking and cooking, and is often the preferred choice for making delicate pastries and cakes due to its fine texture. However, it is important to note that the consumption of farine blanche in excess has been associated with health issues such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
