So, what is fosfato tripotásico?
Fosfato tripotásico, also known as tripotassium phosphate, is a white crystalline salt that is commonly used as a food additive. It is a highly soluble and alkaline compound that is used as an emulsifier, stabilizer, and pH adjuster in a variety of food products, including dairy products, meat products, and baked goods. Fosfato tripotásico is also used in the production of instant coffee and other powdered beverages, where it helps to prevent clumping and improve the solubility of the product. As a food ingredient, fosfato tripotásico is generally considered safe for consumption in small amounts, and is approved for use by regulatory bodies such as the FDA and the European Food Safety Authority.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
