So, what is isobutane?
Isobutane is a colorless and odorless gas that is commonly used as a propellant in aerosol products such as cooking sprays, whipped cream, and spray paint. It is a type of hydrocarbon gas that is composed of four carbon atoms and ten hydrogen atoms. Isobutane is highly flammable and can be dangerous if not handled properly. It is also used as a refrigerant in some commercial and industrial applications, as well as a fuel for portable stoves and torches. Isobutane is considered to be a relatively safe and environmentally-friendly alternative to other propellants, as it does not contribute to ozone depletion.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
