So, what is kopriva?
Kopriva, also known as stinging nettle, is a leafy green plant that grows in temperate regions around the world. Despite its reputation for causing skin irritation, kopriva has been used for centuries as a food and medicinal herb. It's rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, and vitamin C, making it a great addition to a healthy diet. Kopriva can be steamed or sautéed and used in soups, stews, and pastas, or brewed into a tea for its purported health benefits, including reducing inflammation and lowering blood pressure.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
