So, what is kwas octowy?
Kwas octowy, commonly known as acetic acid, is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent and sour odor. It is a weak organic acid that occurs naturally in vinegar, which is a diluted solution of acetic acid. Kwas octowy is commonly used as a food preservative, flavoring agent, and pH adjuster in a variety of foods, including pickles, sauces, and dressings. It also plays a vital role in the fermentation process, converting sugars into vinegar. While it is safe to consume in small amounts, excessive consumption of kwas octowy can cause irritation and damage to the gastrointestinal tract.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
