So, what is noix de de?
Noix de de is a French term that translates to "deer nut" in English. It refers to a type of nut that is produced by a variety of species of trees, such as beech, oak, and chestnut, that are commonly found in forests where deer roam. These nuts are small in size and have a hard, dark brown shell that is difficult to crack open. Once inside, the nut is light in color with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor that makes it a popular ingredient in baking and confectionery. Noix de de can be enjoyed on their own as a healthy snack or used as a crunchy addition to salads, trail mixes, and granolas.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
