So, what is sirop dglucose-frùctose?
Sirop dglucose-fructose, also known as glucose-fructose syrup, is a liquid sweetener commonly used in the food industry as a substitute for sugar. It is made by breaking down cornstarch into glucose and fructose using enzymes, resulting in a syrupy mixture that is about as sweet as sugar. Its unique properties make it an attractive ingredient for food manufacturers, as it can improve texture, prevent crystallization, and enhance flavor. Sirop dglucose-fructose can be found in a wide range of products, including soft drinks, baked goods, and processed foods, as well as in some home cooking recipes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
