So, what is soy bean?
Soybeans are a versatile and nutrient-rich legume that have been consumed in Asia for thousands of years. They are a great source of protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals, including iron, magnesium, and potassium. Soybeans can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, including as edamame, tofu, tempeh, and soy milk. They are also a key ingredient in many vegan and vegetarian dishes, providing a meaty texture and umami flavor. In addition to their culinary uses, soybeans are used in the production of a wide range of products, from biodiesel to cosmetics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
