So, what is sugarcane fiber?
Sugarcane fiber, also known as bagasse, is a natural food ingredient extracted from the pulp of sugarcane plants. It is a rich source of dietary fiber that has been found to have numerous health benefits such as promoting healthy digestion, reducing cholesterol levels, and aiding weight loss efforts. Sugarcane fiber is widely used in the food industry as an alternative to synthetic fibers, and can be found in a variety of products such as breads, cereals, and snack bars. Its unique texture and ability to absorb moisture make it an ideal ingredient for improving the quality and nutritional value of processed foods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
