So, what is aminoacids?
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and play a critical role in the functioning of the human body. They are essential for the synthesis of hormones, enzymes, and neurotransmitters, as well as for maintaining muscle tissue and supporting immune function. Amino acids can be obtained through dietary sources or synthesized within the body. There are 20 different types of amino acids, each with a unique chemical structure and function. Some amino acids are classified as essential, meaning they must be obtained through the diet, while others are non-essential, meaning the body can produce them on its own. Amino acids are a vital component of a healthy diet and can be found in a variety of protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, and plant-based sources like legumes, nuts, and seeds.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
