So, what is de carotte?
De carotte is the French term for a carrot, a popular root vegetable that is commonly used in cooking and baking. Carrots are versatile and can be eaten raw or cooked, and their sweet and earthy flavor complements a wide range of dishes. They are also rich in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants, making them a healthy addition to any meal. In French cuisine, de carotte is often used in classic dishes like pot-au-feu and boeuf bourguignon, as well as in salads, soups, and stews. Whether roasted, boiled, or grated, de carotte adds color, flavor, and nutrition to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
