So, what is disodiuminosinate?
Disodium inosinate is a food additive commonly used to enhance the flavor of processed foods. It is derived from inosinic acid, which is naturally found in meats and fish. Disodium inosinate is often used in conjunction with monosodium glutamate (MSG) to create a savory or umami taste in food products. It is commonly found in snack foods, seasonings, and instant noodles. Although it is considered safe for consumption by regulatory bodies, some people may experience adverse reactions to disodium inosinate, such as allergic reactions or migraines.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
