So, what is et de soja?
"Et de soja" is a French term that translates to "and of soy" in English. It refers to soy-based ingredients that are commonly used in cooking and food production. Soybeans are a versatile crop that can be processed into various forms, such as soy milk, tofu, tempeh, and soy sauce. These ingredients are known for their high protein content and are often used as a meat substitute in vegetarian and vegan dishes. Soy-based products are also rich in vitamins and minerals, making them a healthy addition to any diet. "Et de soja" can be found in a wide range of cuisines and is a staple ingredient in many dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
