So, what is ogórki?

Ogórki, also known as pickles, are a type of cucumber that have been pickled in a brine solution. They are commonly used in Polish and other Eastern European cuisines as a garnish or snack. Ogórki are crunchy and refreshing, with a slightly tangy and sour flavor. They are also low in calories and high in vitamin K and fiber. The pickling process preserves the cucumbers, making them a great addition to sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie boards. Ogórki come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and flavors, ranging from classic dill to spicy and sweet.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like ogórki?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
