So, what is swede?
Swede, also known as rutabaga or yellow turnip, is a root vegetable that's popular in Northern Europe and North America. It has a round shape, a beige-colored skin, and a pale orange flesh. The taste of swede is sweet and nutty, with a slightly earthy flavor. It's a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from stews and soups to roasts and casseroles. Swede is low in calories and high in fiber, vitamin C, and potassium, making it a nutritious addition to any meal. It's also a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect against chronic diseases.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
